Founder, President & CEO
Formerly a pastor, church and school planter, and ministry entrepreneur, Jeff Keaton has spent his adult life believing that through Christ anything is possible. As President and CEO of Renewanation, he works across America challenging Christians to reach the world for Christ and to get involved in the great cause of giving children a biblical worldview. He is the author of The Life of Radical Faith. Jeff and his wife, Michele, have two married daughters, and are enjoying their first grandchild, Marshall.
Ron brings strong education and corporate executive experience to the cause of Renewanation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and an MBA from Virginia Tech. Ron spent 22 years in the corporate world, leading manufacturing organizations, managing numerous multi-million dollar projects, and building cross-functional teams. He currently leads our Christian School Division, while also shepherding overall operations. Ron and his wife, Tonya, live in Roanoke, VA and are blessed with 3 children.
Dr. Josh Mulvihill
Executive Director of
Church & Family Ministry
Dr. Josh Mulvihill is the Executive Director of Church & Family Ministry at Renewanation. Josh has served as a pastor for nearly 20 years, is a founding member of the Legacy Coalition, and has a PhD from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author or editor of multiple books on grandparenting including Biblical Grandparenting, as well as Preparing Children for Marriage, and Rooted Kids Curriculum and Worship. Josh and his wife, Jen, live in Victoria, MN and are blessed with five children. Josh blogs at GospelShapedFamily.com.
Director of Ministry Partnerships
Chuck joined Renewanation in March 2019 and adds a diverse ministry and business background of 20+ years. During his time as an executive pastor of a multi-thousand member church, Chuck was responsible for construction projects, programming for a human trafficking safe house, city wide events, leadership development and preaching. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southeastern Louisiana University. With Renewanation, Chuck now works in developing ministry partnerships so that thousands of new children will begin the process of developing a biblical worldview each new year.
Director of Scholarship Development
Curtis joined the Renewanation team May 2017 with more than 20 years experience in the healthcare and sales industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Radford University and a Master of Science degree from Jefferson College of Health Sciences. Curtis brings a demonstrated ability to successfully establish operational strategies and expertise in leadership, department management and new business development. Curtis and his wife, Brandi, live in Roanoke, VA with their daughter, Ashtyn.
Judy came to Renewanation in 2014 after spending 25 years in the corporate world where she served in various leading administrative roles. She also brought 30 plus years of ministry experience and is sold out to claiming the next generation for Christ. She serves with a sense of joy, professionalism, and passion. Judy and her husband, Tom, live in Vinton, VA and are greatly enjoying their 9 grandchildren.
Christian Education Senior Advisor
Jessica Robb spent many years in public education before answering the call to start a Christian school. This school exploded in growth over a few short years as it discipled almost 1,000 students on multiple campuses. Having seen the effects of secularized education, Jessica has a passion to see Christian schools become centers of biblical worldview training and excellence. She has a master's degree in educational leadership and is currently leading the launch of Kings Christian Academy. Jessica and her husband, Chuck, live in Roanoke, VA and are blessed with 3 children.
Magazine Editor &
Jen Wooldridge has been with Renewanation from the earliest days. Her passion for graphic design has grown as she has helped build The Renewanation Review magazine from the ground up. She now serves as the editor and designer of the magazine. She is deeply committed to the cause of giving children a biblical worldview and sharing the hope of Christ with the world.
After working successfully in the business world for many years, Ray Campbell surrendered his life to Christ in 1995. God changed Ray’s career plans, and he has been pastoring for the last 20+ years, serving in churches in Cincinnati, Ohio and Roanoke, Virginia. He now serves as an Executive Assistant at Renewanation.
Formerly a part-time volunteer, Wendy joined our team full-time in 2017 as our receptionist. Her organizational skills and dependability make her a great addition to the team as she heads responsibilities such as inventory keeping, mail-outs, assistance in event planning, and more.
Dr. S. L. "Doc" Sherrill
Senior Executive Consultant
Dr. S. L. Sherrill is the Founder and Superintendent Emeritus of North Raleigh Christian Academy. During his 23 years there, God used Doc to establish NRCA as an ACSI flagship school of 1450 students. He brings 48 years of service to the position of Senior Executive Consultant for Renewanation. He began his ministry with 20 years in church ministry as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor and has now served 28 years as a Head of School. Currently, he is the ACSI NC Field Director overseeing 102 schools in North Carolina. Doc is an annual speaker at the Kingdom School Institute and does professional development, policy governance, and strategic planning for Christian schools and boards across the country. Through Christian School 101, a program he developed, Doc has helped establish over 40 Christian schools across the southeast. He is currently working with two churches to start schools. He is President of the Board for SBACS and Joshua Expeditions. Doc holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Tennessee Temple University, Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology Degrees from Faith Baptist Theological Seminary, and Master of Christian Education and Doctor of Christian Education Degrees from Faith Seminary.
Senior Executive Consultant
Ron Klein is an Executive Consultant with Renewanation. In his first career as a soldier, Ron began as an infantryman and ended as an aviation acquisition officer. In his second entrepreneurial career, he started a successful aerospace/defense services company. His unexpected third career was as Head of School at Westminster Christian Academy in Huntsville, AL. Ron has extensive experience consulting for domestic and international organizations, and holds a FAA commercial pilot's license. He is adjunct professor of economics, the history of technology development, and geopolitics and is the author of Journey to Excellence: What Boards and Heads of Christian Schools Need to Know to Get There.

Andrew Mast was born and raised on the mission field in Argentina. He graduated from Kentucky Mountain Bible College with a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies with an emphasis on youth discipleship. He is the Campus Manager at Manderley Christian Camp & Conference Center in Pikeville, TN (a ministry of Renewanation).

Guest Services Specialist
Luke Haney joined Renewanation's Manderley Christian Camp and Conference Center team in June of 2018 as our Guest Services Specialist. He grew up in Christian camping ministries in North East Texas and Lake Placid, Florida, and has almost a decade of experience in a variety of aspects of camping ministry. Luke is dedicated to Jesus Christ and to serving others.
Dr. Kristin Bird
From 2006 to 2016, Dr. Kristin Bird helped build Sevenstar Online Academy into an international school. Dr. Bird holds a BA in Fine Performing Arts/Biology (Pre-Med) from Chatham College, a Master of Arts in Teaching (Elementary Education) from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from Northcentral University. Dr. Bird and her husband, Mark, live with their 3 daughters in Cincinnati, OH. She joined Renewanation's Christian School Revitalization Team in 2017.
Dr. Donald Larson
Dr. Don Larson, an Executive Consultant with Renewanation, brings a wealth of life and educational experience. After serving as a Special Ops Pilot in Desert Storm, the Pacific area, and Afghanistan, he retired from the USAF as a Lt Col. Dr. Larson has earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Education (specialization in Leadership in Educational Administration); Master of Social Science; Master of Military Operational Art and Science; and Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis/Computer Science. He has served as a principal and Head of School in several Christian schools and currently serves as Head of School at Grace Christian Academy in Staunton, VA. Dr. Larson and his wife, Marielle, have 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

Gary Feazell is the owner of F&S Building Innovations, Inc. of Roanoke, Virginia. He was a founding member of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce and Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy. He has served on the board of the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association, the board of Lakeside Baptist Church, and as a Ministry Team Leader for Palestine Baptist Church.
Dr. Larry Daugherty
Larry Daugherty earned his Ed.D. in private school administration at the University of San Francisco. Larry has served as secondary principal, superintendent, and interim superintendent at various Christian schools. He co-founded the Great Plains Alliance of Christian Schools in KS and served on the board of ACSI for 10 years. Larry volunteers with House of Hope Kansas City as board chairman and with the Shawnee Rotary Club.
Nina graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education-Mathematics. Nina was Director of Customer Service at Carlisle SynTec Systems. She worked at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor and Resident Director. Before her retirement in 2015, she held the title of Sr. Resident Director, Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor with designations of Certified Financial Manager and Certified Retirement Planning Consultant, a designation earned from the College for Financial Planning, Denver, CO.
Nina served as the United Way campaign chair for 2010/2011.
Anthony Haney is the Director of Lake Placid Camp and Conference Center in Lake Placid, Florida. Anthony was called to camp ministry from the business world not long after he became a Christian in his thirties. He has successfully led two Christian camp and conference centers over the last 20 plus years. He currently hosts more than 40,000 guests per year at Lake Placid. Anthony also serves in a leadership position with the Christian Camping Association of America and has offered consultation to Renewanation as we launched Manderley Christian Camp and Conference Center.
Dr. Glen Schultz
After five years in public education, Dr. Glen Schultz entered the field of Christian education, where he has been a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent. He has directed the Christian school work at LifeWay Christian Resources, served as the ACSI Southeast Regional Director, Superintendent of Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Headmaster of Sherwood Christian Academy. Dr. Schultz serves as founder and director of Kingdom Education Ministries. He is the author of Kingdom Education: God’s Plan for Educating Future Generations and several parenting booklets.
Bruce Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. During a 43-year professional career, Bruce spent time in the Office of the Vice President, stationed at the White House, Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) as the assistant for interagency and international affairs. Bruce also has a strong ministry background. He was an elder, trustee, and treasurer of the National Presbyterian Church and The National Presbyterian School in Washington, D.C. Bruce then spent more than a decade at McLean Bible Church. He is currently involved in ministry as an elder at EastLake Community Church in Moneta, Virginia. Bruce and his wife, Darby, are both passionate Christians and Renewanation partners. They have been married 40 years and have three children and two granddaughters.
