This past April, a group of parents at Answers in Genesis identified an urgent need for a solid, biblical worldview Christian school in the Florence, KY area, just south of Cincinnati, OH. To launch the Christian school effectively, their team asked Renewanation to help guide them through the process of organizing and establishing the school. We encourage most Christian school startups to utilize a 12 to 18 month process to raise funding and steadily prepare for the launch of a new Christian school. With an initial fund provided, a solid steering group headed by Ken Ham, and an aggressive timeline established, Dr. Kristin Bird and Ron Gordon provided coaching support and direction as the team targeted a soft launch this fall. A short five months after engaging with Renewanation, Twelve Stones Christian Academy held their first day of school on August 23rd with 18 students, ranging from Kindergarten to 7th grade.
