Lee Flora

Lee serves Flora Funeral Services as President and Manager. He is a native of Boones Mill and a graduate of Franklin County High School, Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, Atlanta, Georgia, and the National Foundation of Funeral Service School of Management, Chicago, Illinois. Lee also holds a Life and Health insurance license from the Bureau of Insurance. He has completed training from the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association (ICCFA) and is a certified crematory operator.

He and his wife, the former Becky Parcell, live in Rocky Mount. Becky is the owner of Edgewood Cattle, a commercial beef operation. She also actively farms growing hay, soybeans, and corn. They attend EastLake Community Church, Moneta. Lee serves on the Board of RenewaNation and is a member of Gideons International. He is a former Board member of HopeTree Family Services (formerly Virginia Baptist Children’s Home), Patrick and Henry Community College, Virginia Funeral Directors Association, and Independent Funeral Homes of Virginia. He is a past president of the Blue Ridge Funeral Directors Association.
