Guidelines
Please take the time to read several articles from our past issues to get familiar with our style, tone, topics we cover, and our audience.
Articles Submissions: Only submit articles that you own the rights to.
Include your full name and a short and concise bio about yourself.
Your article should be between 800-1,200 words.
Your article may be sent back to you for revisions.
All articles will be edited for length, grammar, content, style, and tone.
We reserve the right to reject article submissions at our discretion.
Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are not always able to respond to every submission.
Articles Not Accepted: We do not publish poetry, fiction, miscellaneous book or movie reviews, Bible studies, and sermons. All articles go through a peer review process. The team decides to accept, accept with changes, or reject a submission.
Accepted Articles: After the peer review process, your article goes into our queue of articles that are added to a future edition of The Renewanation Review magazine, utilized as a blog post, or both.
Plagiarism: Our readers trust us to provide them with engaging, original content. Please be meticulous about proper attribution, and do not attempt to pass off someone else’s writing as your own.
Citing Sources: Please manually use superscript numbers to correspond with endnotes to cite sources at the end of your document. Please do not use footnote and endnote features in Microsoft Word or other software programs.
Bible Versions: ESV or NIV are generally preferred over other translations. Please ensure the accuracy of the Scripture references.
Pictures: Please do not submit pictures for design purposes.
