It’s that time again. Children are returning to public school classrooms all across our state. Students and teachers are thinking about the ole reading, writing, and arithmetic. But in some districts, administrators are thinking about other subjects. Some school districts are considering sex as a subject that should be taught in schools.
According to the Monroe News-Star, the Monroe City School Board's curriculum committee is considering a new sex education course and plans are to adapt the curriculum Rights, Respect, Responsibility (3R’s) for use in the Monroe public schools. This curriculum was developed by Advocates for Youth which has long advocated for the sexual rights of children including embracing and promoting homosexuality and transgenderism. Read More
